Our timber casement windows are fitted with a high-performance hardware system designed for smooth operation, reliable security and effective weather protection — all essential requirements for windows used in the British climate.
In the standard specification, side-hung casements are fitted with robust G-U hinges, a premium WINKHAUS espagnolette lock for secure multi-point locking and consistent sash compression, and a G-U restrictor that helps limit over-opening and improve resistance to strong winds. Top-hung casements are fitted with high-quality friction hinges, ensuring controlled and reliable everyday use.
For projects requiring enhanced functionality or more traditional detailing, we offer a comprehensive range of optional ironmongery. Available options include Easy Clean friction hinges for safe external cleaning, restricted friction hinges for additional security, classic butt hinges for heritage and conservation work, dummy butt hinges for a more traditional appearance, and Monkey Tail stays or alternative period-style stays.

Glazing Options
